Welcome, Marie Trammell, New RRWC Partnerships Coordinator!

We are excited to welcome Marie Trammell, our new Partnerships Coordinator!

Marie grew up in a rural town outside Reno, Nevada.  After earning a Bachelor and Master’s of Science in Geography from the University of Nevada, Reno, she (along with her husband and son) moved to a small town in New South Wales, Australia for her husband’s post-doctoral research.  Upon finishing the post-doc, they moved to Anchorage, Alaska where they welcomed their second son.  Their family settled in the Rogue Valley in 2017.

Marie comes to us after working in environmental research, consulting, and policy

(including the Bureau of Reclamation, University of Alaska, Anchorage, and the Alaska Center for Conservation Science), and most recently as the grants and research compliance specialist at Southern Oregon University.  A true Geographer, Marie is passionate about the interactions between people and the environment, and environmental policy and governance that manages natural resources. When not working, Marie likes to spend time with her family, baking, traveling and exploring new places, fishing, and birding.

Marie will be continuing the leadership and exploring the expansion of our meaningful partnerships that expand our impact beyond restoration. Welcome, Marie!
