We are thrilled to announce a new series we are collaborating on with Jackson Soil & Water Conservation District! Every Friday this Spring, we will be sharing inspiration, ideas, resources, links, and activities to help get kids outside. It's the perfect time of year for nature hikes, flipping over rocks, or even just watching the clouds move across the sky. Follow us @rogueriverwc and @jacksonsoilwaterconservation on Instagram and Facebook to get first access to this series.
Know a teacher, parent, or caregiver who would love these ideas? Send them the link to our website hub that will be updated every week: https://www.rogueriverwc.org/freshairfridays.
You don't have to travel far (or at all) to experience nature in the Rogue Valley. There are so many ways to engage kids in nature and plant the seed of stewardship for future generations. Of course, it's also good for physical health and taking a break from technology. We hope this series helps get kids outside and curious about the natural world while getting some vitamin D.
The series starts TODAY!
