Beth Boos
Community Engagement Project Manager
Beth joined RRWC in December 2023 after she packed her bags on the East Coast and drove across the country to become our Community Engagement Project Manager. Beth has a plethora of experience in environmental education and non-profit work, and her recent experience as Stewardship & Outreach Director in the Adirondack Park of New York gives her a packed toolbox of engagement and outreach skills. She has also worked in New Hampshire, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Louisiana, Alaska, and Oregon.
She is thrilled to be back in the Pacific Northwest, as she completed her master’s research in wetland restoration in the High Desert of Eastern Oregon. Beth holds a Bachelor of Science in Fisheries & Water Resources from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point and a Master of Science in Renewable Natural Resources from Louisiana State University. She is excited to combine her water resource and education knowledge to serve in an outreach position with the watershed council. In her spare time, Beth enjoys chasing waterfalls, reading, and finding new coffee shops.
